Putin Forever: Russians Given Money As Vote That Could Extend Putin's Rule Draws To A Close

Propaganda is visible in every word you say. I can answer everything exactly the opposite.

At the time of the collapse of the USSR, 90% of Russians lived in Crimea. Alcoholic Yeltsin and his friends simply divided the country into tidbits for rule. Putin just corrected a historical mistake. Look now at life in the Crimea. Bridges, roads, schools, hospitals were built. Ukraine did not care before this region.

I will give an example. Alcoholic Bush at the collapse of the United States passes Texas to Mexico. Life in Texas is getting worse. Mexico does not spend money on the development of Texas and is trying to infringe on the rights of local Americans (forbids them to speak English and so on). And after 20 years, President Clinton arrives and returns Texas to the United States. And suddenly from Russia they begin to tell Clinton that he is an aggressor, a dictator.

And look at how the population of Crimea behaves. Do they behave like a population of the occupied territories? Not.

To judge the Donbass, Crimea, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, China - you must be inside this and know the history of these problems from A to Z.

And read less yellow newspapers.

At some point international boundaries will need to be respected by all countries, including Russia and the US. Crimea is internationally recognized as being within the borders of Ukraine. The fact that Kruschev gave Crimea to the Ukrainian Socialist Republic in the 1950s doesn't change this. By your rational the Germans are within their rights to take back Kaliningrad.  Mexico should take back Texas and California. I mean where does this end?

Russia broke established international law and the entire world knows this but was powerless to do anything.  Russia should just be honest with the world and say they took Crimea because they needed Sevastopol and they were concerned that with Yanykovich being ousted Ukraine would not continue to lease the naval base to Russia.  Putin knows fully well that Crimea is a money pit. Other than the naval base and tasty sparking wine Crimea doesn't offer anything Russia did not have.  Quite frankly Russia could also take Donbas and Lugansk regions but those regions are also money pits so why should he do that?  This entire business of trying to justify why Russia is in Ukraine is just bullshit. Things like giving Ukrainian separatists in Donbas Russian citizenships and then justifying an occupation by claiming Russian citizens are being killed is bullshit.

Personally I think Ukraine should just forget about Donbas and Lugansk regions and make a treaty with Russia that says Russia must take ownership of those regions.  At this point give Russia and land road thru Mariupol to Crimea because this conflict will just continue with this eventual outcome.  Having worked in Donetsk I can say that these regions have much more in common with Russia that Ukraine (this in no way justifies Russian presence there). Ukraine should agree to not pursue NATO membership in exchange for the promise that Russia will respect Ukraine's borders.  I believe most Ukrainians would agree to this but the main concern will be will Russia honor this promise?

As for Navalny, it is such a curiosity if someone thinks that he is not a representative of a certain part of the current establishment. Like someone like Navalny in the previous decade might have been on the Aeroflot Supervisory Board. Aeroflot is by far the largest airline in Russia with a large share of the state treasury, I leave it for consideration.

Except that I would ask for confirmation because a year ago this question was asked by a guy who had previously been the head of the military intelligence service in Poland in an interview for the Polish weekly Rzeczpospolita, suggesting that he is at most a representative of some group of Russian oligarchs

Is Russia atracting for foreigners?

Well

Quote

Interesting factoid from Nikolay Mitrokhin of Bremen university: During 11 months of 2021, Russian citizenship was granted to as many people as Germany received during the migration crisis of 2016. This is based on the latest interior ministry’s stats.
