Thanks, Jose. Venezuela's distressing story is the certain result of an entity -- any entity -- that abandons reality for wishful thinking. The human characteristic of allowing oneself to believe what one wishes to be true, rather than relying on reality and sound principles, magnifies the tendency to support false promises.
