You can only have 2 out of 3 :

1. COVID-free society

2. Functioning economy

3. Livil liberties (democracy)

So we have :

1. Chinese model: 1 & 2. Unfortunately this was not the choice of Chinese society but CCP decision.

2. Lockdown model at first applied in nearly all developed countries, with 1 & 3.

But this model works only for a few months cause it destroys economy.

So more and more countries move to :

3. Indifference model: 2& 3. We get used to COVID-19. Take some more or less effective countermeasures.

Some people would get sick and some would die but the rest needs to live.

I'll take 3 and 2, in that order.

If we do not have Personal Liberty  #3, then we are slaves.

Covid is not as bad as the media and governments portray.

Needlessly, many people died.  They did not have to, nor does anyone need to die from Covid now.  Censorship murdered people.
