it gets a bit dusty at times. May need to keep an army of slaves foreign laborers to keep it clean...

Right, I forgot about the dust. It's tough living in the desert, no question about it. So it'll have to be "or something".

How about installing wind turbines to generate electricity to power fans that will blow sand off the solar power panels that will generate electricity so they can sell more oil & gas instead of burning hydrocarbons for generating electricity to power the air conditioners.

(Sorry, Rube Goldberg moment there...)

may as well collect the blown sand and sell it to "frackers")) - let's be real here, wind turbines consume power and sun is not always shining in the desert
