Meanwhile, Trump has had no stronger supporters than the New York Post and Wall Street Journal editorial pages, and now both the NY Post and the WSJ have joined the NYT and Washington Post's editorial pages in denouncing Trump's attempts to overturn the election results. NY Post Editorial: The Post says: Give it up, Mr. President — for your sake and the nation’s https://nypost.com/2020/12/27/give-it-up-mr-president-for-your-sake-and-the-nations/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosam&stream=top Excerpt: We understand, Mr. President, that you’re angry that you lost. But to continue down this road is ruinous. We offer this as a newspaper that endorsed you, that supported you: If you want to cement your influence, even set the stage for a future return, you must channel your fury into something more productive. If you insist on spending your final days in office threatening to burn it all down, that will be how you are remembered. Not as a revolutionary, but as the anarchist holding the match. WSJ Editorial: Trump’s Challenge Is Over https://www.wsj.com/articles/trumps-challenge-is-over-11607898467 After losing at the Supreme Court, he has no legal alternatives and ought to concede. WSJ Editorial: McConnell at the Bridge https://www.wsj.com/articles/mcconnell-at-the-bridge-11609285157 Excerpt: President Trump has always put his personal interests above nearly everything else, and Republicans are paying the political price. Mr. Trump lost his re-election bid to Joe Biden, and now he may cost Republicans the Senate too. Mr. Trump lost his re-election bid even as Republicans did better down-ballot because more voters liked his policies than liked him. The President hewed to a largely conservative agenda as long as he needed to maintain GOP support. But now that he’ll soon leave Washington, he’s throwing that over to punish Republicans and anyone else who refuses to indulge his fantasies about overturning the election. . . . We’ll see how this plays out in Georgia, but the fault here isn’t Mitch McConnell’s. The political damage to the GOP comes fromDonald Trump who is lashing out at all and sundry in defeat—no matter if it also helps to elect a Democratic Senate. Every one of these "outlets" belongs to Murdoch. He's over 90 and his trust fund idiot children are running his empire (into the ground). Fox News is down 50% so far and falling like a rock. When the secretary of state for Georgia is directly implicated in a fraud against taxpayers "renting" $20 million dollars worth of equipment for $114 million you know something is wrong. When the very person under attack is allowed to run the "audit", you know something is wrong. This "audit" was roundly criticised before it ever began, with thoroughly flawed methodology and hand picked "auditors" from the University of Georgia political science department, 100% leftists. Raffensberger bought his job and was bought off in the process. The Georgia corruption runs deep indeed. You're delusional if you believe Georgia is a blue state. They're hopping mad there, and it will only get worse. His own brother is a senior executive for Huwai and reports directly to the CCP, you know something is wrong. Tom Nolan + 2,443 TN December 30, 2020 Multiple GOP Senators Announce Plans To Challenge Electoral College Results https://www.zerohedge.com/political/hawley-becomes-first-senator-committed-challenging-electoral-college-results Update (1250ET): Two more lawmakers have joined Hawley with planned objections to the count during the January 6 vote. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-TN) and Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) are also planning to object, according to Bloomberg, along with Rep. Marjorie Greene (R-GA). That said, it may be all for nothing if rumors are true Pelosi and McConnell are working together to change the rules and block objections. TWEET from Marjorie Taylor Greene Word on the Hill is that Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi could be working together on a rules change "deal" to block our Electoral College Certification objection. The American people deserve to hear about the voter fraud that took place on Nov 3 ... NO DEAL, NO COVER-UP! Authored by Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said he will object during the counting of the Electoral College vote process on Jan. 6, becoming the first senator to confirm they are joining an effort launched by more than a dozen House Republicans. “I cannot vote to certify the electoral college results on Jan. 6 without raising the fact that some states, particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws,” Hawley wrote in a statement on Monday. “And I cannot vote to certify without pointing out the unprecedented effort of mega-corporations, including Facebook and Twitter, to interfere in this election, in support of Joe Biden,” he added. Senate Judiciary Committee member Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) attends the confirmation hearing of Attorney General nominee William Barr at the Capitol in Washington on Jan. 15, 2019. (Charlotte Cuthbertson/The Epoch Time Hawley said that Congress should investigate voter fraud allegations and make sure that future elections are secure. According to the Missouri Republican, both chambers have failed to act in an appropriate manner. “For these reasons,” Hawley continued, “I will follow the same practice Democrat members of Congress have in years past and object during the certification process on Jan. 6 to raise these critical issues.” Hawley noted that Democrats objected during the 2004 and 2016 elections “in order to raise concerns” about election integrity. “They were praised by Democratic leadership and the media when they” objected, Hawley added, saying that they “were entitled to do so” and Republicans concerned about election integrity in the Nov. 3 election “are entitled to do the same.” Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) in an interview with “American Thought Leaders.” (The Epoch Times) For the past several weeks, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) and other House GOP lawmakers have pledged to object to the counting of the Electoral College votes during the Joint Session of Congress. Their effort requires a senator and a House member that would trigger a series of debates before a vote on whether to certify a state’s Electoral College votes is held. Some members of the GOP leadership, including Majority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.), have said their efforts are doomed to fail. And over the past weekend, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), in comments widely publicized by news outlets, referred to Brooks’s effort as “a scam.” And, according to anonymously sourced reports, Senate Majority Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told GOP senators that they should not take part in the House GOP-led effort on Jan. 6. Another Republican, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), said the attempt to challenge the votes is an improbable one. “It’s basically going through the motions,” Cornyn said, reported The Hill. “It’s a futile exercise.” But Brooks, for his part, indicated that “dozens” of House members back the effort. “We’re going to sponsor and co-sponsor objections to the Electoral College vote returns,” Brooks told Fox News on Dec. 28. In a previous interview with The Epoch Times’ American Thought Leaders program, Brooks said he believes the Electoral College vote can be rejected, and the election can ultimately be decided in the House of Representatives. Former California Sen. Barbara Boxer “tried to strike Ohio for George Bush back in 2005, so this is not unusual,” Brooks said in an interview with Fox Business on Dec. 15. “The law is very clear, the House of Representatives in combination with the United States Senate has the lawful authority to accept or reject Electoral College vote submissions from states that have such flawed election systems that they’re not worthy of our trust.” The new Congress is slated to be sworn in on Jan. 3.

Georgia already looked into making sure that those who are registered are legally entitled to vote. Guess there are those who just cannot accept that they voted for the guy who lost. The "audit" could not find a fake ballot because you can't use the application vs. ballot comparison to identify any election fraud, not even a fake harvested ballot. The stated action could not have reached the determination. It compared two irrelevant fields. You can only identify a fake mail in by comparison to the voter signature on the application and ballot envelope to that on the registration at BMV. The registry is an independent audited source for a reference signature. The application is not a reference as it was not inspected to confirm identity and eligibility of the person. It could have been anyone.

Jeffrey Brown + 208 JB January 1, 2021 (edited) Trump’s New Year’s gift to the country, a Tweet posted just before midnight last night, an unbelievable piece of propaganda from OAN (One American News) entitled “President Trump’s road to victory.” They claimed that, with 19 days left until Inauguration, Trump still has multiple paths to victory, including the legislatures in the swing states overruling their Secretaries of State and awarding their state’s Electors to Trump. Which of course is totally false. These states have laws on the books requiring the Electors to be awarded to the winners of the popular vote in their states. Goebbels, a proponent of the "Big Lie," would have been proud of OAN., but this is the crap that the Trump Kool-Aid drinkers are listening to. Ben Sasse summarized the circular logic in the Trump Personality Cult perfectly: https://www.facebook.com/SenatorSasse/posts/what-happens-on-january-6th-in-november-160-million-americans-voted-on-december-/3517705981660655/ Excerpt: Right now we are locked in a destructive, vicious circle: Step 1: Allege widespread voter fraud. Step 2: Fail to offer specific evidence of widespread fraud. Step 3: Demand investigation, on grounds that there are “allegations” of voter fraud. I can’t simply allege that the College Football Playoff Selection Committee is “on the take” because they didn’t send the Cornhuskers to the Rose Bowl, and then – after I fail to show evidence that anyone on the Selection Committee is corrupt – argue that we need to investigate because of these pervasive “allegations” of corruption. We have good reason to think this year’s election was fair, secure, and law-abiding. That’s not to say it was flawless. But there is no evidentiary basis for distrusting our elections altogether, or for concluding that the results do not reflect the ballots that our fellow citizens actually cast. End Excerpt. And also back in Reality Land: WSJ: Pence Seeks to Dismiss GOP Lawsuit Aiming to Let Him Overturn Election Justice Department called Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert’s suit a ‘walking legal contradiction’ https://www.wsj.com/articles/pence-seeks-to-dismiss-gop-lawsuit-aiming-to-lethim-overturn-election-11609458671 Excerpt; WASHINGTON—Vice President Mike Pence asked a federal judge in Texas on Thursday to dismiss an effort by a Republican congressman seeking to give the vice president the power to decide which electoral votes to count when Congress meets on Jan. 6, dealing another blow to GOP efforts to install President Trump for a second term. . . . Mr. Gohmert’s lawsuit makes several false assertions in its effort to get the gambit before a judge. For instance, it claims that “the State of Arizona (and several others) have appointed two competing slates of electors.” Arizona filed a single slate of 11 presidential electors with the National Archives. They cast their votes for Mr. Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, who won the state. Edited January 1, 2021 by Jeffrey Brown
