North Face Compares the Oil Industry to the Porn Industry

North Face has put the oil industry in the same category as the Porn industry, I don’t remember having the options to abuse children during my career also I never saw child roughnecks , NF should apologize publicly and be made to pay!!

While both oil and porn industries exist, they serve vastly different purposes and have distinct impacts on society and the environment. It's important to consider their respective roles and implications.

Newsflash: North Face has always been trash.  This is just one of their last gasps at relevancy.  What products they do make are ALL made in China which goes to show what they REALLY think about the environment... Lip service

Equating oil with porn is just part of this trend of major companies embracing woke/greenie ideas and then being surprised to find that their customers by and large don't care about such stuff. The most ridiculous example would have to be the magazine Sport Illustrated which tried to revive its iconic annual swimsuit issue by introducing transgender guys and (horror!) fat women in bikinis only to find that its overwhelmingly male hetero, decidedly non-woke readership wasn't much interested. The real question is why North Face, many of whose products owe something to petrochemicals (used to make plastics) thought this denunciation was a good idea.

I have contact with both (some of these business contacts) and could say porn has much more honesty.
