Richard D + 86 RD December 28, 2020 Reference article on natural gas flaring in Texas. My calculations is that this is about 50 mlillion tonnes, converted to metric. If there are no pipelines to move it,then perhaps it can be brought to market by road tanker. My suggestion is that an Air Separation Plant in an industrial centre could supply nitrogen which would be used to vaporise LNG. The natural gas would be supplied to a local user, while the ntrogen would be compressed and liquified by the use of the cold from the LNG. Tried and tested technology. See the internet for patents. The liquid nitrogen would then be sent,by road tanker,to the rural oilfield. The liquid nitrogen could there be used to liquify the natural gas which would otherwise be flared. The nitrogen would be vented to atmosphere. Low energy consumption and investment.
