As I suspected, with Harris/Biden at the helm, prepare for Western Canadian O&G to get squeezed out of the "partnership" between Canada and the US. Like softwood lumber in the past, our largest export income is being forced to use expensive rail, or even trucking, to get product to market. Market manipulation by the government of America, with Ottawa acting like an obedient pet. Weak and stupid liberals.

It seems that no one cares about gas and oil related topics here. I personally think that importing more oil into the US just hurts the US national security. Importing Mid East oil never solved anything in the US, Importing Canadian oil also impacts the US in negative ways. I hope that Biden takes a Nationalistic view to blocking imports of crude as much as possible. If Canada wants to export let them bring it to the coast and ship it to China and let them battle out for territory with Saudi Arabia. Personally I think the US should practice protectionism to help the US economy the same as every other country on the planet does. Canada is no innocent angel.

Heavy oil capacity is what a lot of those massive refineries need. Now, they're not getting it from the ME at the price that Canada can supply it at. Playing Canadians for fools, is what they're doing. 98% of our crude and upgraded crude goes to the US, while your green sycophants work with ours to retard our ability to access other markets. This isn't new. All we want to do is compete on the world stage. America's refining can't let that happen.
