The US is about to reimpose tarrif on steel that comes from the UAE, according to the Washington Post. This comes hot on the heels of another move at the very beginning after taking office by President Biden - imposing arms embargo on the UAE.

For the UAE, the most progressive group of nations in the Gulf, this may have come like a bolt from the blue, at a time it started diplomatic ties with Israel, risking many things and invoking the wrath among some Muslim nations emotionally.
