HK Rach + 10 RW May 28, 2018 Watching with great interest how the on-again-off-again North Korea summit unfolds, or if it even takes place. While everyone's busy talking about whether this signals a complete lack of diplomatic credibility in Washington or is simply Trump's normal negotiation strategy and there's a reason for the chaos, I'm more concerned about what this actually has to do with China and the trade talks. I'm thinking that Trump's sudden reversal on ZTE has something to do with North Korea .... thoughts?

cryptocurator + 17 AN May 29, 2018 Interesting timing that Japan this morning says it's detected what it believes to be a Chinese shop making illegal transfers to a North Korean ship off of Shanghai...
ronwagn + 6,290 May 31, 2018 China is probably tired of keeping North Korea supplied with essentials. It is also probably not happy with North Korea being a nuclear power. They probably also think that an economically self sufficient NK would lessen illegal immigration and let China focus on trade problems with America.
