The government of the United Kindom that is determined to get cars on fossil fuels off the roads by 2030, did encourage motorists to go electric by offering them grants up to £3000 in a scheme up until now.

Today, however, they announced that not only will it be reduced to just £2500, but also will be restricted to cars which are under £35000.

In a rare show of unity, both the motor industry and the enviromentalists are up in arms against the move..
