Gordon-Hagerty previously worked at DOE as director of the department’s emergency response office and acting director of its nuclear weapons surety office.

She also served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and spent more than five years as director for combating terrorism at the National Security Council, where she helped coordinate U.S. governmental efforts to prevent, deter and respond to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and conventional threats.

Her professional career also includes time as executive vice president and chief operating officer of enriched uranium fuel supplier USEC Inc. and a health physicist at DOE-funded Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

What is actually reasonable about this Trump's choice? Or any of his choices?

Another excellent appointment  by Donald Trump. As I already expected. He never disappoint me.

Yes, definitely someone who knows her business; however, I'm always a bit concerned about private 'consultants' and their companies in these roles. Too much conflict of interest sometimes. She heads up Tier Tech International and LEG Inc.
