Men are notoriously short-sighted and known (and always will be) for only fighting enemies they can actually see. The only way it's ever going to be considered a real security threat is if someone convinces officialdom that the Russians are behind climate change, or perhaps the Iranians or North Koreans.

But before that, US was holding that same title because it has been burning coal for much longer than China. Shouldn't the US take responsibility for its major role in causing climate change instead of exiting from the Paris climate accord?
