Rob, you hit the nail on the proverbial head. I agree totally with your comment above, "I think stupid is not being prepared to listen to another opinion and in some cases admit youre wrong when facts you werent aware of are put in front of you that are irrefutable." I have been saying this for quite some time here. Your version of history, however, is a bit off. Chamberlain's Munich Agreement with German Chancellor H (don't you get tired of these circuitous references to the famous leader of Germany in the 1930s?) was actually received with great acclaim at the time it was concluded. Chamberlain was hugely admired by the British public and leadership for avoiding war. A year later, Chamberlain was forced to declare war on Germany, and it was not until the collapse of France in 1940 that Chamberlain had to resign in favor of Churchill. Even then Chamberlain remained in the British Cabinet until his death in 1941. He was not exactly a disgrace, but his weak response to international crisis created a lasting example of the wrong way to confront screwball dictators. Oppenheimer wanted to share the development of the nuclear hydrogen bomb, the successor to the atomic bomb, with Russia and China. That put him in conflict with the U.S. government, his employer, who had no wish to share superior technology with aggressor nations. Oppenheimer was removed from security clearance and was no longer part of the weapons development teams. Again, his blinkered idea of the possibility of working with aggressor dictators was similar to the unfounded optimism of Chamberlain.

RCW You really think new EV's are the heaviest things on the roadways? Yes an EV car might weigh more than an ICE car, but big, heavy, ICE trucks have been around and wreaking the roads for a very long time. Don't quote biased opinion articles as if they have any merit; you only seek out shit that fits your preconceived notions. Lastly, any infrastructure problems that could possibly happen with mass EV adoption only happens with mass EV adoption. Considering you do not think EV's will have mass adoption this should not concern you. If it does concern you, then admit you understand the future is electric.
