It does not suck to be me. I'm actually pretty excited right now about buying a new car. Almost certain it will be the Prius PHEV. Yes maybe still some gas used but most of my daily driving will be fully electric. I don't even need to upgrade the power to my garage.

I am going to buy it with cash.

Yes, I would definitely go hybrid in your location as a primary vehicle and -25f battery life is too short. Nothing wrong with hybrids, last car for wife was Rav4 AWD hybrid. Though the battery died one month after purchase, but Toyota came to the house with a wrecker and installed a new battery. As was depreciated out, traded in for Highlander AWD gasser with a turbo. All that was available last year, all the hybrids were sold out.
