They are not super bad but the pollution is not gone; do not kid yourself. The disaster destroyed the entire fishing and tourism industry for an extended period! I agree with the hazard pay stuff. Did you know that the Gulf actually leaks tar blobs on its own? Seeps. The oil outta the DeepWater was light "sweet" crude. Not heavy black tars like in the Lebrea Tar Pits. You can argue this till the cows come home but factual material is out there. A reminder, if your driving a FF car at all or is all you own, your part of the problem and not the solution. Same goes for notsosmart. You claimed to have 2 houses and whatever. Sell one and buy a EV. Put your money on it!!!!! Not so EV friendly?. Get a hybrid. Toyota makes alot of nice ones.

Yes I know there are natural oil leaks; the Athabasca river cuts through the oil sands and releases natural oil emissions. The volume of emissions from Deepwater was vastly more than natural emissions - you know that. We do plan on buying a EV soon - our detached garage is right next to a power line so charger hookup should be relatively cheap. 1

Who is too damn lazy to search? You! It is hard to find real charitable acts from Trump using his own money and I have no interest in finding them and posting them as I do not like him. You can campaign for him, I wont. If you are going to call someone dumb and lazy try not to mistake "your" with "you're" in your post. Find some charitable works from Trumps personal wealth to counteract my evidence he steals from charities. Calling me biased is funny. "For example, analysis of publicly available statistics from South Korean government agencies, one of the early adopters of electric vehicles, show the number of fires per registered electric vehicle is steadily increasing. Fire risk remains lower than for traditional vehicles, although the gap is shrinking as the electric vehicle fleet ages. And the highly publicised nature of their fires is a source of growing buyer hesitancy.

Don't be naive and think Trump will be the saviour of the USA ICE auto industry. Trump even recently badmouthed the traditional auto industry because they have unions. Furthermore, the regulations you hate are at the State level. No, the really hard regulations are at the federal level. If Trump wins, those CO2 levels regulations will come off, and there will be freedom of transportation. The California governorship will be transitioned to a more intellectual and intelligent holder. The law is clear; California does not have the power to mandate the cars Iowans drive.”" Here is the post where you clearly confuse EPA regulations and California state regulations.
