TraderTate + 186 TS December 19, 2017 Been following Lithium X for a while now and looks like one of the best (if not THE best) picks out there among small-cap lithium stocks. Now the Chinese are after this one. Shares are halted for trading on the TSX. They're buying LIX for $206 million. https://www.ft.com/content/87819f3a-b21c-37d8-8018-b9c03330b1a9

Selva + 252 SP December 19, 2017 Probably all that is needed for electric cars. It's a global battery race and China is winning.

Kate Turlington + 44 KT December 21, 2017 Graphite is going to be huge, I think. As far as I know, EV and energy storage solutions need more tech-grade graphite even than they do lithium and cobalt. I also don't think the US produces any tech-grade graphite at all.
Carlsbad + 19 CB December 21, 2017 I think most of the graphite in the world comes from China, but even they need a lot more. For investors, though, no idea what a good graphite play would be, or even if there is one in North America.
Seleskya + 50 AS December 23, 2017 Some juniors in the graphite arena who've had some recent news flow include: Northern Graphite, Kibaran Resources, Nouveau Monde Graphite and Archer Exploration.
Carlsbad + 19 CB December 23, 2017 Never heard of any of them ...
TraderTate + 186 TS December 23, 2017 Worth looking into. All micro-caps. Northern Graphite and Nouveau Monde I believe are Canadian venture stocks (CVE and TSX), while Archer and Kibaran are ASX. Depends who is behind them. Management and backing is key for these micro ventures.
