The oil price is rising fast and unlike in the past, it is causing alarm in the developing countries. Even in the developed nations, it has gone beyond the realm of murmurs in the corridors of power. That means the political interventions, not the market factors, are going to determine the price of oil at a point in time in the not-so distant future - once again this year. We have been there in April this year!
