Having failed to force the OPEC+ to pump more oil while being sandwiched between ‘green credentials’ and the need to curb the inflation, President Biden appears to be contemplating on using what he terms, ‘other tools’.

It too, is easier said than done.

As a last resort to salvage the falling approval ratings, President Biden appears to be gearing up for the last resort – tapping the SPR in a collective way, even turning to what the administration usually sees as a global foe.
