City of  Seattle political leaders signaled they would repeal new big business tax they passed just weeks ago. While Amazon was not the only company that lobbied against the tax, it was probably the most vocal. It paused construction on two massive towers it's developing in the city, resuming construction on only one of them after the vote passed.

The Seattle City Council didn't learn anything when their $15/hr minimum wage resulted in an exodus of businesses and jobs. losing 40+k jobs and 3.5 billion dollars to virtue signal over raising 20-40 million dollars is a good thing?

This will get repealed because the council still has not provided proof that the programs that have been implemented with previous taxes are working. Not because of Amazon
