Got-rich-quick and got out. I never claimed US was a bad place to do business, but only that it had a very low degree of personal freedom. Russian schools used to suck back when, but they do not anymore. This was late 90-ties, when Russia was in ruins, while US was rolling in dough from the first .com boom. Actually, a lot of people who once left are "lining up" to return now. Presumably, the Chinese have gold under their mattresses? Don't really know much about China though.
