Scotsman + 14 LB June 26, 2018 In the manner of the EU probe into Russian Gazprom, the EU is now investigating Qatar's long-term LNG contracts, saying they may be inhibiting the development of a single gas market. The point is a concern that these 20-year contracts with European utilities may be illegally keeping them from diverting shipments within the region (just like Gazprom). DanilKa + 443 June 26, 2018 Trust Japan did the same - all new contracts shouldn't have no-resale clause. Doubt EU can affect price by "investigating", though.
