What is the future for G.E. in the energy sector?

They are in tumultuous times right now, so I wonder what future footprint G.E. will have in the energy sector. What say you energy experts?

The new GE strategy is to focus mainly on aviation, electricity and renewable energy.

In its annual results presentation, GE reported a 14% revenue increase for its renewables business, while the group as a whole made a loss for 2017. Across the full financial year, GE Renewable Energy also saw orders increase 1% to $10.37 billion and profits grow 26% to $727 million.

Can they dominate the renewables' business at least in the U.S.?
