I have always said that the day China stops these types of aids to venezuelan government, the Maduro administration will definitely enter its final days for real. But not so fast. After more than 3 years, China decided according to a statement by financial authorities in venezuela, to give another credit to boost oil production. But is there anything to boost?

$250MM is a small price to pay for a largest crude oil importer if this could avert complete collapse of Venezuelan export (with subsequent moonshot in oil price) and potentially give access to the largest hydrocarbon resource (Orinoco belt heavy oil) on Earth...
