Venezuela's Oil minister calls for a mass to pray for ramping up PDVSA oil production

according to a news release, Minister of Oil Manuel Quevedo called for a mass at a church in order to pray to God to ramp up venezuelan oil production.... one further thing to add to the absurdity and also the sorry state and outlook of venezuelan oil production, living its darkest hours ever. No other resource left than to Pray to God! Im speechless. God might take issue with Venezuela starving its citizens. Not sure how receptive he would be to lining their corrupt little pockets further.

Well now; this certainly is an impressive development. 

What this tells you is that the situation in the oilpatch is far more dire than we had been led to believe.  It means the Oil Minister sees no hope of having production by anything his government might do or be able to arrange.  And that implies that Venezuela is now tipping over the point of no return, into catastrophe.  And as I said before, this is the point where other nations have to step up to the plate to avoid mass deaths. What a horror.
