For Apple to move production to China, they would have to first move production out of China. They've used Chinese contracting manufacturing for years. And I believe I read Trump has ponied up a no-tariff promise for Apple products, for whatever that is worth. Apple is huge in China, and counterfeit iPhones are huge as well.
