Bhimsen Pachawry + 72 August 25, 2018 Saudi Arabia can also bring a law saying that USA must give blueprints of all the defence items sold like F16, F35 to Saudi Arabia and may reject petrodollar itself. USA can't make law for anything and everything
ceo_energemsier + 1,818 cv August 26, 2018 NOPEC Bill has been floating around since the mid to late 90s. They can try to pass all the NOPECs and it will achieve the exact opposite effect in the market and OPEC will survive.

It does not mean your going to win. Further if you win, it does not mean your going to get anything. The whole idea is a waste of thought. Opec and Russia are going to do what they want, especially now after Trump is crashing and burning. Opec can pump X oil and make Y dollars or pump Z < X oil and make W dollars > Y. Whad ya think they are going to do? No, OPEC and Russia are going to do what the market and world economy dictate irrespective of Trump “crashIng and burning” as you say. If it weren’t so then they wouldn’t currently be on the tail-end of self-imposed decreased production agreement to clear the glut of oil from the world market. The suing OPEC with NOPEC or any other law etc will not work. It will drag out in courts for years and years if it if went to court, it will cost tax payers a lot of money and nothing will come out of it that will be of any benefit to the US tax payers, economy or the energy sector overall. It is a supply and demand issue and OPEC and their top producers hold the key, or rather held the key to the supply side. Now with the US shale boom (and bust) and boom , there is a slight shift in the pendulum, not much but enough to make some OPEC producers re-evaluate their strategies to retain market share and try to balance price so it doesnt kill demand and doesnt flood the markets with lower priced oil (I didnt say "cheap" oil)

It will probably be a DOA document
