Yes, but not this. Massive overreach by MBS on so many fronts. The Houthies have very little ability to project force. It’s incredulous the Saudis, considering the spend, haven’t crushed them. Saudis would probably be happy to lose a ship or two if it dragged the US directly in.

I think they'd actually be happy to drag the US into a war with Iran but it won't happen. If it could have happened, it would've. Their worst nightmare is that their grand plans are failing and they are failing spectacularly. It's really fascinating to watch.

The emperor has no clothes, a lot of folks selling hyper expensive invisible threads, and yes, failing spectacularly. I feel for the people. I really enjoyed my time there, but it fear will get ugly in the next few years.
