With the hurricane season in the Atlantic basin on the horizon, analysts fear that the existing supply woes in the crude oil markets can only get worse in the coming months. The trail of destruction left by Hurricane Ida last year just reminds us of the potential impact on the oil the fields, when unpredictable weather events become active from June to November, in addition to the cyclonic events.
