Adam Varga + 123 AV December 26, 2017 Government at any level leaves EVs out of disaster planning. This could cause big problems in case of evacuation with already existing infrastructure challenges.
Selva + 252 SP December 26, 2017 I suppose that evacuation with EVs and with the current infrastructure would be very difficult. If we add to all of this a fact that all EVs don't accept the same chargers, than we would have an evacuation chaos.
Vlad Kovalenko + 115 VK December 26, 2017 Well that is definitely something that should be on a list of priorities for the government. Especially with estimate of 1 million EVs on US roads by 2020 and currently only around 16,000 public charging stations with around 42,000 outlets. Not enough, not even close.
