5. "Anthropogenic emission is much less than that from volcano eruptions, animal fart, decay of material etc."

Livestock farts, sewage treatment, garbage dumps etc. are anthropogenic emissions.  They are a directly related to human activity.

Livestock farts, sewage treatment, garbage dumps etc, are NOT anthropogenic emissions... unless you are a retard of epic proportions...

Humans/livestock eat what again?  If they did NOT eat 'x', what happens to all that land etc again... oh right, plant etc grown there, DIE, and "fart" methane.  All that rotting "natural" grain turning into methane or eaten by.....  If not cows/pigs, then millions upon millions of farting deer, buffalo, etc.

You are literally farting out your mouth with stupid brain dead on such comments.

Keep up the good work!  Humor is appreciated!

First of all, TailingsPond, the last quote highlighted in the video intends to make a point that natural factors are producing much more CO2 than human activities.

2. Animal fart -

We can have wild animals, animals in captive of zoos, animals in farms etc...

For places so civilized that citizens never need to see any live animal, besides those in captive of zoos and farms, or as meat in the market, we sincerely believe their animals only fart in confined places. Hence, not at all wrong if they are under human activities of having zoos and farms.

3. Decay of material

- from the video, TailingsPond might want to click to minute- 24 +/-  to find the picture shown might be leaves and bugs in natural forests or such.

- you might be partially correct that sewage, garbage are anthropogenic, or human origin. Reason:

a) From an article titled

"You do not want to know where your shrimps and crabs come from .."..........

Those, once out there in the swamp, would be part of the natural environment. Decay from there onwards considered natural cycle of carbon, or such.......

b) but those found in confined areas e.g. seawage treatment plants, landfills etc, would be considered human origin.

Not sure if CO2 is common under anaerobic condition. Shall there is no oxygen, other compounds might be more popular.

Industrial agriculture is not natural. Without chemical fertilization, pesticides etc. there would be far, far fewer animals (and people).

In your mind what does a farmer do? They clearly are doing a human activity designed to increase production above naturally sustainable levels. They are not simple hunter / gathers gleaning from the land - they manipulate the land and in the process significantly increase emissions.

Have you ever seen, or worse smelled, a high-intensity feedlot or a rendering plant?  How about a Monsanto Superfund site (there are several).

"Agriculture accounted for an estimated emission of 5.1 to
6.1 GtCO 2-eq/yr in 2005 (10-12% of total global anthropogenic
emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs)). CH 4 contributes 3.3
GtCO 2-eq/yr and N 2O 2.8 GtCO 2-eq/yr. Of global anthropogenic
emissions in 2005, agriculture accounts for about 60% of
N 2O and about 50% of CH4"
