As the above image, taken on September 5 from a pretty reliable model, implies, there are a few storm formations in the region that one of which may grow into a significant weather event in the coming weeks; a development of this kind could potentially disrupt the oil supply from the refineries along the Gulf coast, as happened in the last year.
