You missed the recent reports showing that new investment is flowing into diesel, in response to demand pressures. That shows a market on the way up. You want to skip over the last 12 months? That shows your lack of inderstanding of how the markets function, they change month to month. A market on the way up???????????????????????????? They aren't even close and have no chance of getting there between demographics and their utterly corrupt and screwed up domestic economy. For example their domestic economy depends very much on the value of housing for living and investing. This created a huge savings rate but for a self sufficient consumer economy they need to decrease the savings rate and increase the consumption rate. These are mutually exclusive and contradictory goals. When you chase foreign business out you create large holes in all parts of your economy. Chinas economy may never come back as foreign companies continue to leave.

I have read a few threads on here where rivers are running dry or very close to it which is affecting hydropwer in places such as California without lithium being mined on mass scale, so that would be my main concern, is there actually enough water to sustain the ecosystem and produce lithium??? Mining of pretty much anything isnt great for the environment, unfortunately we need lots on REE as well as FF currently.

The lithium brine comes to the surface from geothermal wells. This mining causes no harm to the environment and is 100% green. Some of the proceeds will go toward fixing the ecological disaster that is the Salton Sea.
