Angus MacOil 0 AD October 1, 2018 Let me put it another way. When I first started driving some time in the mid 1960s, I could buy more than 4 Imperial gallons of petrol, (gasoline), for £1 Sterling. Today it costs around £4 Sterling for 1 Imperial gallon. If you can predict, among other things like alternative fuels for enegy, the rate of inflation etc., then there is a fair chance of reasonably accurate predictions. The rest is guesswork!
