After a heated battle, controversial Enbridge Line 5, which runs underneath the Straits of Mackinac, will be replaced at an expense of $500 million (to the company), and will take 10 years to complete. 

Not sure what this means for the democratic governor hopeful who has run on a platform of shutting it down completely.
