Carlsbad + 19 CB December 31, 2017 (edited) Have recently read reports that Trump has signed an executive order allowing for the seizure of assets of any person or corporation (either American or foreign) determined to be abusing human rights or engaging in corruption ... Does anyone have an objective take on this and what this means? Sounds eerily like what the Saudi crown prince just did .... Seleskya + 50 AS December 31, 2017 Here's the actual executive order from the White House ... could be scary; depends how it's used or abused. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-blocking-property-persons-involved-serious-human-rights-abuse-corruption/
LAOIL + 33 OS December 31, 2017 One of many things that sort of floated by this year without getting much attention, though this one was just a couple of weeks ago. But a lot of things happened, good and bad, that we didn't even know about it would seem because the media is too busy staging its own childish war and forgetting to actually inform the public of actual legislative changes, as is their duty. Here's a very interesting list of things that were pushed through, accomplished, or whatever, from Politico ... (138 things in total). https://www.politico.com/agenda/story/2017/12/29/138-trump-policy-changes-2017-000603
