Rodent + 1,424 October 12, 2018 For the first time since 2011, fracking to begin tomorrow in the UK! 2
DanilKa + 443 October 15, 2018 wait for useless idiots (paraphrasing Lenin) to start chaining themselves to crew buses and pumping equipment. That's how it went in New South Wealth on AGL site.
John Gammage + 19 October 16, 2018 I drilled wells all over the UK from Inverness to the Isle of Wight through the '70's and '80's, none of which were hydraulically fractured (hate that "f-word"). Sure there was some local concern but we bent over backwards to appease their worries. In the town of Tain, home of the Glenmorangie distillery (there's another story), there were even "anti-drilling" posters up because the locals mistakenly believed that we were testing for a possible nuclear waste disposal site. We just have to get better at educating the general public or their resistance will never go away.
