The requirements are pretty complex but carmakers are getting ready, too. it seems the foreign players like Ford and VW would have more trouble complying because the locals have been investing more heavily in EVs. Should be interesting to watch although estimates are for a one-two percentage-point increase in EV's portion of total car sales within two years.
