Including a 150MW one in South Korea and in California there are multiple batteries to be built the largest to be 300 MW / 1,200 MWh. This to save money as a NG combined cycle that wasn't built to long ago needed considerable amounts of subsidy to stay a float.
Dan Warnick + 6,100 December 6, 2018 Battery tech is changing rapidly, finally. There must be a bunch of studies on the harmful effects of battery disposal and waste? Not to mention whole industries built up simply around getting kids and people to buy/use/dispose of/buy/use/dispose of, batteries for the last 50+ years. I say the sooner the better for new battery tech and recycle-ability!
