markslawson + 1,063 ML January 5 A new year and yet another expose of Hydrogen, which was always a terrible idea in energy storage. This expose is by Sabine Hossenfelder (a well-known science commentator) who, like me, cannot understand why this idea of H2's use in energy became so widespread. As she says in the video, she thinks it's because so many people wanted it to be true that they ignored considerable evidence about huge problems in its use, at least in energy. She also compares previously announced figures for H2 projects with reality. Worth watching.

However, she makes a lot of poor predictions and admits herself she is a failed scientist (physics) and that is why she does YouTube videos wearing the same pink shirt (her words). She is just Bill Nye the science guy with boobs. Edited January 6 by TailingsPond

She is just Bill Nye the science guy with boobs. That may be true but in this case isn't relevant. She's debunking hydrogen's use in power as someone with a technical background and saying pretty much the same things I have been for years now, and I don't wear a pink shirt. Time to forget about H2 and move on.
