The latest non-news that everybody suspected but was never confirmed has just been confirmed. I wonder how this would sit with the rest of the Arab states, regardless of Saudi Arabia's status as leader of the pack. Also, a bit worrying that the Saudis are buying weapons from everybody.

Saudi Arabia has a money, money means the power, and power sometimes leads to wrong moves. And without Iran, they opened a lot of fronts with Muslim countries. It will be interesting to see the next move...

At this point, any alliance is acceptable if it's against Iran. It's not a new thing, the Israelis sidling up to the Saudis as a bulwark against Iran. It's a tricky alliance, of course.
