Recommended Posts

We need a "scary" upvote icon button thingy for the forum.

Apparently, algorithms = AI. It's exasperating.

anything to lower the cost of oil production per barrel.

"Shell says it can now drill oil wells in 60% of the time for 40% of the cost."

Much of AI is just pattern recognition algorithms and very large data sets. Artificial neural networks are still pretty weak at "creative" or human like thought.

35 years ago, Isaac Asimov was asked by the Star to predict the world of 2019. Here is what he wrote

True. Although, IT and AI advances are exponential, so it is only a matter of time.

In an attempt to see the positive in every situation, should I live to see that, I've always wanted to see how living in a movie world feels like, even if the movie is Black Mirror. :D
