Doyle Johnson + 14 DJ January 28, 2019 Like most of you I anticipate the EIA's Summary of Weekly petroleum data each Wednesday @ at 10:30 ET. The news media reports increases/decreases only on the crude number, however it would seem to me that that the last sentence in paragraph 3, ( Total commercial Petroleum Increase/decrease for the week ) would be a more important indicator of an overall build/draw. I have noticed over several years that crude oil prices do not necessarily respond logically to these reports, makes one wonder what the commercials, hedgers and global traders are looking at and where they access their data. I thought perhaps some of you more experienced might shed some light on this investing subject.
