Marina Schwarz + 1,576 January 11, 2018 After scores of reports bout he year's failed Arctic drilling campaign, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate expects a rosy future over the next five years. So rosy, it actually forecast production of oil and gas combined will hit 2004 records. It could happen with gas but oil? They seem to be pegging all their hopes on the Johan Sverdrup field and efficiency improvements. That last one has become a buzzword like innovation and digital disruption, I find. TraderTate + 186 TS January 11, 2018 I have been watching the Johan Sverdrup developments for a while and can't figure out why this is the big 'buzzword'. It's not that big of a deal to my mind. Besides, wasn't the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund just talking about divesting from oil completely?
