Facebook Employees Had Access to Hundreds of Millions of Users' Passwords

Recommended Posts

(edited)

Up to 20,000 Facebook employees had the potential to search for the passwords of between 200 and 600 million users going back to at least 2012.

Facebook promises that its initial investigation has no found no evidence of Facebook employee wrongdoing and that only Facebook employees had this access but not anyone outside the company. That should make everyone feel better.

Looks like it's time to change that 123456 password.
