Ukraine Must Buy Gas From Russia - Decision of Swedish Court

The Swedish arbitration court has decided that Ukraine has to buy gas from Russia during 2018. It's a result of gas dispute between Ukraine and Moscow. These two countries, practically, have no friendly relations since the annexation of the Crimea, but the court decision must be implemented.

Everything is clear. Ukraine has not imported Russian gas since 2015, but will need to purchase 4bn-5bn cu.m. of gas in line with a clause in a contract signed in 2009. Money goes to Russia.

They get the Russian gas anyway. Anyone with a tiny bit of knowledge knows that they buy Russian gas trough their European allies, so the only thing they do is that they reverse the stream back to themselves at a higher price..

Vested interests are stalling reforms in Ukraine's natural gas sector, impeding progress that the government needs to achieve. In same time, they are under pressure of Russia. Russia's so ungrateful for everything what Ukraine do, and with court decision they got satisfaction.
