Found this for your reference:

Rapid-discharge problems

Lithium batteries can provide extremely high currents and can discharge very rapidly when short-circuited. Although this is useful in applications where high currents are required, a too-rapid discharge of a lithium battery can result in overheating of the battery, rupture, and even an explosion. Lithium-thionyl chloride batteries are particularly susceptible to this type of discharge. Consumer batteries usually incorporate overcurrent or thermal protection or vents to prevent an explosion.

Heard also that light head on collision could send Lithium battery into catching fire or/and an explosion.........

Due to competition; shortage of raw materials and disparity in skilled workmanship and working ethic in the modern days ........... QC ought to be tight when quantity is involved like the old time or no??

Yes, that's been a pain in the bonnet for EV makers. It could set them back in their quest to conquer the world.

But of course not. Who cares about QC when you must churn out billions of gadgets for the digital zombies?

Just wait till all the installed power walls start catching fire when the dendrites grow and short out as the idiots use the same batteries instead of Lithium iron phosphate.
