RuudinFrance + 25 RH May 14, 2019 U.S. Senate drafting bill to sanction Nord Stream 2. Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) are drafting a bill that would target Nord Stream 2 with sanctions. Specifically, the bill would hit vessels that build the pipeline and executives from those companies. Source Oilprice (weekly update). No doubt Ted and Jeanne do this out of sincere fright of imperialistic Russia. Yup, the USA has to protect stupid Europe once more from their follies. Nothing to do with any of the ~12000 lobbyists running wild in DC and buying senators and representatives alike. https://www.google.com/search?q=lobbyists+in+us&oq=lobbyists+in+USA&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l5.11782j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Just when Pompeo goes over to Lavrov in order to smoothen "things" out, some senators come up with this. Aren't these conflicting signals? A good thing that they did agree on getting talks going again with the totally insignificant North Korea, a major step forward (LOL), well, it may again end up with a good photo-moment. And in order to make "things" easier with NK, we'll just steal their largest coal tender and transport it to American Samoa. Ever heard about the "unincorporated territory of American Samoa"? Check it out and be ashamed of yourselves (ref. imperialist). Really, I don't understand how US citizens can swallow the crap that their industry bought representatives feed them. (OK, well aware that we've got these rats -lobbyists- in EU as well). Have fun,
RuudinFrance + 25 RH May 15, 2019 Nordstream 2: Financiers: ENGIE, OMV, Uniper, Wintershall and Shell together have 271000 employees and revenues of ~$500 billion/yr. https://www.nord-stream2.com/company/shareholder-and-financial-investors/ Remember this one: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2006/dec/22/russia.oilandpetrol The (blackmail) deal (by Putin) was accepted and does anyone really believe that Shell got the short end of the stick? Why, in case they got seriously burned, would they invest in Nordstream 2? So, Teddy and Jeanine believe they can get the best of Nordstream 2 financiers by blackmail? Silly kids. Shell has done so much good for the USA in GOM (started with Bullwinkle and last success being Stones), so much new, advanced technology. https://www.offshoreenergytoday.com/tag/fpso-turritella/ (SBMO being Dutch, of course). No doubt Shell has not yet forgotten the totally unfair (where did that whining come from now?) case of: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2004/jul/30/oilandpetrol.news1 Maybe it's time for the Nordstream 2 money people to say goodbye to USA. Interesting times, Have fun.
RuudinFrance + 25 RH May 15, 2019 Of course Allseas (Dutch) with their "Pioneering Spirit" will get hit as well. Does anyone have any idea about the value of that vessel? Not the value of the vessel itself, but the money it saves in installing and removing topsides and jackets. Back to the doghouse and McDermott for USA operators. Short term policies will prove to be future liabilities. https://allseas.com/equipment/pioneering-spirit/ https://allseas.com/videos/pioneering-spirit-installing-the-johan-sverdrup-dp-topsides/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jEXmOQ22fQ Have fun.
