US drillers lost rigs this week--the second loss in three weeks. Production was still up last week. Permian basin still hot hot hot, adding six rigs despite the overall loss.

Doesn't matter. The rig count is becoming irrelevant faster than EIA figures. Good for producers, though, doing more with fewer wells.
