Trump, AOC Team Up?

Trump and AOC can actually help each other. Trump wants a trade deal with China that is a level playing field for the US and AOC wants a new green deal. Since 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions are created by China , AOC logically should be going after them, Right? Trump needs to bring China to heel and no better way to do it than point out just how polluting their unfair trade practices are, 70% of their massive power generation still comes from coal fired units with little or no scrubbing capabilities. ( Just belch it out, using developing nation status as cover) If China were required to meet the same emissions standards as the US, much of their cost of production advantage would disappear. The US ( Trump) either needs to get a better deal with China or replace them as our major trading partner, the latter is already under way. Trump has a golden opportunity to point out to the AOC crowd just how polluting China is and ask for their vote in the upcoming election , after all it would be good for the planet if we only traded with nations that polluted less than China. Trump, as an astute businessman,  could require our new trading partners to be less polluting ( greener ) by generating most of their power using LNG ( we can help them with that ). Every wins, except China, AOC gets part of what she wants, Trump gets part of what he wants, sounds logical to me, now all we need is for somebody to explain to the AOC crowd just how good this would be for the planet and ask for their vote, no body better than Trump to do that, maybe they can even come to love him.

Interesting idea. It assumes, though, that the AOC crowd is more interested in greenifying the world than they are in socializing America. I'm not sure I would make that bet.
